The Choir’s second CD, “Connected. Songs for the Heart” was recorded live in March 2006 at a concert series at Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto. The album is packed with 15 tracks of uplifting, emotionally charged music for the heart that spans many different genres and appeals to all listeners of all ages.
This latest musical endeavour also features guest artists including: Alana Bridgewater, Julie Michels, and Thom Allison.

Toronto’s Alana Bridgewater is a singer/songwriter with depth, soul and power. She has toured the east coast with jazz great Joe Sealy and his quartet as a member of the Nathaniel Dett Chorale. She has also performed extensively throughout the Mediterranean. Alana has performed for Quincy Jones and Peter Gabriel tributes in the World Leaders Festival. She was the voice for the 2008 Olympic Bid Song. Alana’s unmistakably rich and powerful vocals bring audience’s to their feet.
Julie’s intense, original and joyous sound grabs familiar melodies and welds them to original and wonderfully thick chords influenced by every international tradition. Her ability to phrase a lyric and improvise over a melody gives every song a clarity that stays in your mind long after the band stops playing.
Dora Mavor Moore Award Nominee Thom Allison has graced the stage performing in musicals like Evita, Hello Dolly, Into the Woods, ThreePenny Opera and more, for some of the nations largest stage companies. Thom’s eloquent vocal styling and powerful voice polish his performances to a high shine.
Louise is best known for her Tony Award nominated role in broadway’s hit Mamma Mia! Louise generously lent her writing and vocal talents to the cd by co-writing and singing the title track House of Love.
Mark is best known for his work in the highly acclaimed vocal group The Nylons. Mark’s energy and charisma shine in his outstanding vocal performance of Holy Ground.
Mary is best known for her roles in such Tony Award winning musicals as Showboat & Ragtime. Mary’s wonderful rendition of Climb Ev’ry Mountain shows off her unique and refreshing vocal style.
Maria is known by many in the Opera and Classical music scenes. Her voice is unmistakable. Maria’s vocal talent is not to be missed in her outstanding Operatic version of O Holy Night.
